Jessica Templeton is a political scientist and award-winning educator who has worked with LSE100 since its inception in 2010.

Jessica ist he Director of LSE100 – LSE’s flagship interdisciplinary course taken by all first- and second-year undergraduates.


Jessica Templeton teaches and conducts research on global environmental governance issues at the London School of Economics (LSE). Jessica is also a writer, editor and team leader for the Earth Negotiations Bulletin, a nonpartisan publication of the International Institute for Sustainable Development that analyses multilateral environmental negotiations conducted under the auspices of the United Nations,

Jessica is particularly interested in global regulation of hazardous substances, and has worked with ENB’s (Earth Negotiations Bulletin) chemicals team since 2008.


Jessica is an advocate on how consumers must become conscious of the impacts of their shopping habits on the environment and thus pressure corporations into producing environment-friendly products by showing an increased inclination towards products and brands that are “green.”

Jessica is also keen with the importance and functioning of institutions that work to bring people together internationally to shape policies and reforms regarding rising global concerns.
